Performance drilling allows Mesa West to drill your vertical well cheaper and faster than conventional drilling. Mesa West Performance drilling motors spin the bit at a high RPM, helping you to maximize asset value in hostile drilling environments by reducing well time and lowering your cost per foot. More On Our Slimhole Directional Drilling Technology

Modeled after our durable and reliable Mud Pulse system, our Slim Hole MWD System is capable of providing directional and gamma ray services in many types of wells, including short radius wells, at build rates not previously available through conventional MWD technology. It is the perfect tool for re-entry of wells where small production strings are used. For deeper drilling applications, the tool will facilitate keeping pressure losses to a minimum and flow to a maximum, for better cleaning and cooling. The tool has a long downhole life and is low maintenance.

  • Modeled after our mud pulse system, this slim hole tool is extremely rugged, durable and reliable, all key advantages when down time is not an option.
  • Can be used in place of regular mud pulse systems with modified landing subs.

Turnkey Surface
Hole Directional Packages

This package pricing allows operators to better manage costs for surface hole projects with Directional and MWD services required. We provide the mud motors, MWD tools, non-mag drill collars and personnel tailored to each client’s needs, whether it be “manned” or “unmanned” services required. These packages include all inspection and redress charges, typical wear and tear, personnel mob and de-mob as well as survey certification submitted to governing body.  The only cost passed on to the client, above the turn key price, is the initial trucking of tools to location and trucking back to base once a project is complete.

Disposal Well Packages

Much like the surface hole turnkey pricing, this package can be tailored to operator’s needs regarding manned or unmanned services.  If manned we can provide the package with DD and MWD supervision or completely unmanned with remote support once initially set up.  These package prices will include all mud motors, MWD tools, non-mag collars, well planning and personnel if requested, along with all inspection and redress charges.  Again, the only on top charge passed along is the initial and de-mob trucking of equipment.
